More information for those who like details: Julia teaches art for Western Middle School in Parma, Michigan. Other current employment includes teaching clay and art studio classes for "Reaching Higher", an after-school enrichment program. She previously taught art students from young 5's through 5th grade at Bean, Parma, and Warner Elementary Schools. She has also taught general education classes including 1st and 2nd grade. Early in her teaching career she taught reading and math for at-risk students, high school art, and preschool. Other teaching experience has been with Adult English Language Learners, reading skills for cognitively impaired adults, and Artist Workshops for adults. Julia is also a working artist.
